The launch of BCEFW Live Fashion Talks : A Series Of Interviews With BCEFW’s Hungarian Talents

The Hungarian Fashion & Design Agency is launching a series of interviews titled BCEFW Live Fashion Talks, in which the 22 Hungarian fashion designers who would have showcased their Autumn- Winter 2021 Collections at Budapest Central European Fashion Week this spring will now take the lead. Through exclusive interviews, the public will be able to get to know the personal stories and professional ideas of Hungarian talents inseparable from BCEFW. The aim of the initiative is to let those interested in fashion become familiar with Hungarian designers and their collections that stand out at BCEFW's fashion shows.

The Hungarian Fashion & Design Agency (HFDA) has been conducting intensive marketing communication on both domestic and international level in order to increase the awareness of Hungarian fashion designers. HFDA’s aim is to emphasize - and through promotional activity - ensure the visibility of the creativity and uniqueness of the Hungarian fashion industry. The virus situation imposed a number of challenges for the Agency, amongst other things, it was forced to cancel the Budapest Central European Fashion Week showcasing Hungarian brands in spring.

Despite the difficulties caused by the pandemic, the public interested in fashion will be paying attention to the talents of the Budapest Central European Fashion Week in the upcoming weeks. As part of the BCEFW Live Fashion Talks interview series, the Hungarian Fashion & Design Agency will be introducing 22 designers who would have presented their next season collections on the runways of BCEFW in April.

The Hungarian fashion designers speaking in the live fashion talks will discuss their experiences regarding BCEFW with Krisztina Maróy, the Editor-in-chief of Glamor Hungary - on how they will be preparing for the event, what the event means to them, and the inspiration behind their collections. The personal stories and professional ideas discussed in the videos will be able to bring the Hungarian audience closer to the Hungarian talents who have stood out in the Catwalk shows, Young Talents shows and as exhibitors. With the BCEFW Live Fashion Talks interview series, a missing platform has become available to the general public, explaining creativity - a characteristic of the Hungarian fashion industry.

Leading the talks, Kriszta / Krisztina Maróy will be tuning in each week on Tuesday and Thursday from 19:00 on the official Instagram account of BCEFW, between June 23. and September 4., 2020.

The talks can be rewatched on the official Instagram page of BCEFW.
