The conference was opened with the discussion between Anna Dello Russo and the HFDA’s CEO, Zsófia Bata-Jakab. The two fashion experts discussed the future of sustainability and global changes in the fashion industry in the beautiful region of Puglia, Italy.
The professional forum continued with four main panels - the first day focused on sustainability and the future of the fashion industry in the upcoming 10 years, touching on changes in supply chains and more conscious manufacturing. This was followed by the topic of changing business models, where experts covered, among other things, next-generation brand strategies and influencer marketing. On the second day, the experts shared their thoughts on the role of technology and the impact of the virus situation on the fashion industry, and in the panel’s closing discussion, they exchanged views on the rise of digitalization and key issues, and also answered questions from listeners in the Q&A section. The Budapest Fashion & Tech Summit was closed by a regional roundtable discussion, during which the leaders of the fashion institutions from the surrounding countries and the CEO of HFDA, Zsófia Bata-Jakab, reflected on the four main issues of the event.
Hosting the event, made Budapest one step closer to become a member of the sustainable fashion cities of Europe and playing a guiding role in making the Central European region more sustainable.
