The countdown has started, BCEFW is coming in early February

The Hungarian Fashion & Design Agency (HFDA) organises the Budapest Central European Fashion Week (BCEFW) for the eleventh time between the 2nd and the 6th of February 2023, which has become one of the most determining fashion events of the region in the last few years. The program series returns with a new concept and new venues, while still focusing on incentivising sales and consciously shaping the country’s image.

The fashion week to be held in the first week of February in Budapest is being transformed in response to the current economic situation and industry changes. Hungarian and regional designers’ 2023/24 autumn-winter collections will be displayed in a personalised, presentation format, following international trends, in different venues of the capital, on BCEFW weekend days, between the 4th and the 5th of February. The professional audience and those interested in fashion can pick and choose from varied side events all week, and a BCEFW pop-up store will await the fans of designer pieces on the highly frequented Fashion Street.

BCEFW is one of Central Europe’s major fashion events with an international profile, programmes, and services, introducing domestic and Central European designers’ collections to the industry and the public twice a year. The fashion week’s main goal is to call attention to regional talents and creativity, ensuring that the presenting designers become active players in the international fashion industry flow, while the event contributes to increasing Hungary’s touristic appeal.

The event’s detailed programme will be available on BCEFW’s website soon.

Application for designers is now open for BCEFW AW23/24!
