The Budapest Select Fashion Show: A Full House Success At Milan Fashion Week

For the third time running, five Hungarian brands have been able to take part in Milan Fashion Week, thanks to the support of the joint mentoring programme of the Hungarian Fashion and Design Agency (HFDA) and Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana (CNMI - The National Chamber for Italian Fashion). Besides being represented via a permanent exhibition, the brands Abodi, Cukovy, Elysian, Je suis belle and Zsigmond Dora menswear showcased their collective fashion runway show to a full house at the Fashion Hub on Friday.

The collective fashion show for Budapest Select, which was organised on Friday afternoon was met with a huge interest, and all seats were occupied by some of the most respected international buyers, influencers and fashion industry professionals, as a result, many viewers had to watch the shows standing. Influencers such as Bence Csalár, Rebeka Kárpáti, Festy in Style and Sydney van den Bosch also attended the Hungarian show.

International professionals from the fashion world watched the show of the Hungarian designers from the first row, including Sara Maino, Deputy Director of Vogue Italia and Head of Vogue Talents and Deputy Director of Vogue Italia; Alberto Calabrese, Journalist for Vogue Talents; and Carlo Capasa, Chariman of Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana.

During this period, fashion influencers are all on a search to discover the newest brands, and many of them also viewed the Budapest Select show, including: Erica Santos, Gili Biegun, Anja Tufina, Lina Polánia, Irene Colzi.

The successful Milan show of the five Hungarian brands will also be on view at Budapest Central European Fashion Week from 9-14th of  March.
