The Budapest Central European Select – pop-up store opened with 25 Hungarian and regional designers
During the BCEFW, the main fashion event of the Central-European region, for the first time, the Fashion Street in the city centre is hosting the Budapest Central European Select pop-up store, which provides excellent sales opportunities. The store awaits customers with fashion and design brands in our capital between the 11th and 19th of October. Then, in the next six months, it will conquer the cities of Slovakia, the Czech Republic, and Poland, complemented with more regional brands.
One of Hungary’s most anticipated fashion events, the Budapest Central European Fashion Week, awaits those interested for one whole week. It will present the most talented domestic – among which entrant – and regional designers’ 2022 spring-summer collections with a new image. During the two-day catwalk show held between the 16th and 17th of October in Bálna Budapest, more than 30 fashion brands display their creations. Furthermore, exciting side events diversify the fashion week at different venues of the capital.
The Budapest Central European Select pop-up store has opened in the city centre to sell Hungarian and regional designers’ creations. It awaits customers between the 11th and 19th of October on the Fashion Street in Budapest. One of the Hungarian Fashion & Design Agency’s main strategic goals is to improve the international accessibility of Hungarian brands, which contributes to the economic stability of the brands and incentivises their exportability. Pop-up is a sort of innovative reaction to today’s quickly changing consumer needs and market financial situations; thus, it has become an essential element of brand strategies.
The Budapest Central European Select – pop-up store exhibits 25 Hungarian and regional designers’ creations; customers can pick and choose from the products of 21 fashion and four design brands. The store found under 19 Deak Ferenc street awaits fashion and design fans with men’s and women’s clothing, accessories, ceramics, jewellery, small luminaires, and furniture to get to know more closely and maybe even purchase Hungarian and regional designers’ unique pieces.
The Budapest Central European Select is a temporary shop, which, besides Budapest, will provide an opportunity for exhibition in Slovakia, the Czech Republic, and Poland on different dates. Furthermore, the store’s repertoire will increase in the next six months since the Budapest Central European Select will conquer the V4 countries united with even more regional brands.
With the initiative, the HFDA aims to make the region’s creative industry more widely known, strengthen the cooperation between the industry’s institutions, generate joint projects, exchange contemporary fashion and product designers and programmes, launch mobility, and develop tourism and touristic services.
