Nine domestic brands will carry on the reputation of Hungary at Milano Fashion Week
The Hungarian Fashion & Design Agency and the Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana’s collaborative international mentoring programme provides an opportunity for seven Hungarian brands to showcase their AW21/22 collection on 26 February, at the 64th Milano Fashion Week. The designers will be provided with the opportunity to present their brand-new creations in the form of a digital fashion show for the international press and fashion scene. Two brands will be able to present themselves on the online platform of the event with the help of digital contents.
In August 2018 the Hungarian Fashion & Design Agency concluded a strategic agreement with Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana, and thanks to the collaboration, the internationally acknowledged fashion chamber have been supporting the development of the Hungarian fashion scene ever since. Thanks to this partnership, this year, 9 Hungarian brands will be given the exceptional opportunity to introduce their creations at Milano Fashion Week, organized for the 64th time, between 23 February and 1 March.
Due to the current restrictions in parts of Italy, and for the safety of employees working on the Fashion Week, the organizers of MFW decided to carry out the event in an online form. Within the digital collective fashion show which is part of the official schedule program of Milano Fashion Week, the 7 following brands will present their looks on the runway - ABODI, Cukovy, Elysian, Kata Szegedi, MERO, THEFOUR and ZIA Budapest. Two mentees of the international mentoring programme ALMA and NINI will be joining them on the official site of the fashion week where the international audience and fashion enthusiasts can access their collections.
Visitors and those who’s interested will get the opportunity to watch the creations of Kata Szegedi, MERO, THEFOUR and ZIA Budapest on the catwalk, alongside 3 mentees who participated in the Agency’s first international mentoring programme, ABODI, CUKOVY, and Elysian.
