More Than 20 Exciting Workshops and Programmes Await Everyone at the Creative Festival

This year, the Creative Festival will welcome both young and old on 19–20 August with a more colourful range of leisure activities than ever before, supported by the Hungarian Fashion & Design Agency as a professional partner. As part of the Saint Stephen's Day celebrations, the event allows visitors to explore beauty and gaming programmes alongside fashion and design. Numerous workshops, presentations, playhouses, and interactive games await those interested from 10 AM until 6 PM at Millenáris Building D. Let us show you now what you can expect if you visit one of the most exciting events of the national foundation celebrations.

In keeping with the traditions of previous years, expert hands will guide participants through dozens of workshops to create a wide variety of works. Whether it is stylish everyday objects, home decorations, designer lamps, LED-lit fashion figures, or tiles, everyone can find the activity that best suits them.

Those who enjoy working with yarn or needle and thread can create colourful, bohemian rugs using tufting techniques or soft, charming creations from wool. Participants can also sew bags, hats, and accessories from old clothes and fabric offcuts, all in the spirit of sustainability and creativity. Naturally, professional designers and experts will be on hand to guide participants through every step.

The jewellery-making workshops highlight the wide variety of materials that can be turned into fashionable accessories: colourful beads for cheerful phone charms, wool for cases or envelope-style bags, and fabrics, ribbons, and glass beads for authentic Roma jewellery. Those feeling adventurous can make unique pieces using leather.

Visitors interested in the uses of different bath salts, moisturisers, hair and essential oils and eager to know which ingredients are best for them, should not miss out on the Creative Festival. Not only can they learn the techniques for making these products, but they can even mix them on the spot and take home their natural, personalised beauty products.

Creativity comes alive at the festival, not only in handicrafts but in games as well. Experienced players and curious beginners alike can try a variety of classic and new board games. Whether it is strategy, logic, or teamwork, game masters will help players navigate the rules to ensure everyone enjoys the experience.
