HFDA to realise its vocational training programme in digital form
The Hungarian Fashion & Design Agency pays particular attention to quality craftsmanship in the creative industry and plans to promote vocational training for the textiles and clothing industry. The elaboration of the concept for developing a new vocational training scheme was preceded by a survey conducted among vocational trainers and pupils, and the Agency has now prepared the Vocational Training Programme 2020 in light of the results of the survey.
As a result of the critical situation created by the pandemic, the Hungarian Fashion & Design Agency reconsidered its plans: instead of going on a cross-country tour to raise its prestige and increase its visibility, HFDA will organise a digital career guidance programme promoting fashion design in the second half of the year – using videos and podcasts.
A short video film presenting a career model and made by the Hungarian Fashion & Design Agency aims to draw attention to the beauties of the creative industries, creating a supply for the sector. The film was shot in two locations: at a convivial environment in Kazár and in a modernised one in Békéscsaba, the latter tells the story of a sewing shop that works with new textile technologies. By offering an insight into the life of the employees, the film hopes to convince young viewers that it is worth pursuing this creative career.
