Explore exciting side events at the 11th BCEFW
The Budapest Central European Fashion Week, showcasing autumn-winter 2023/24 collections will be organised by the Hungarian Fashion & Design Agency between 2-6 February. The main event of the fashion week takes place on 4-5 February at four locations in the capital, but on top of the designers' weekend presentations, BCEFW will also offer fashion lovers a range of side events all around the city. These side events will again offer a colourful and rich programme for visitors in both Pest and Buda.
Budapest, transforming itself into the fashion capital of the region in the first week of February, features something special every day: exciting collaborations, a range of discounts, showroom parties and performances. The programmes will also create an opportunity for professional dialogue and a chance to network with fashion enthusiasts.
Studio B72 launched its shopping party series, the Fashion Frenzy (Divatfröccs), in 2019, serving delicious snacks and drinks in the revamped showroom. MrCarterCo and Suit For Sunday will welcome fans of sustainable bags and guarantee a real party atmosphere for the weekend. Art'z Modell is also organising a shopping party in its new salon, during which you can not only shop at 20% off but also have a professional stylist at your disposal to help you choose the right outfit. Nanushka offers a 20% discount and an exclusive cocktail brunch, and, in style, CAKÓ invites you to its Pest store for a special sale with a toast to say goodbye to winter.
KATA SZEGEDI's programme in the luxury chocolate shop will be spiced up with Jo Malone London perfumes and Ghraoui Valentine's Day sweets. Faludi G's ring and necklace workshop is not the only programme to offer hands-on skills, as you can also take part in Omorovicza's workshop to learn skincare techniques from the brand's beautician, with writer Éva Szentesi as the evening's star guest. NUBU is celebrating an anniversary this season: their event will look back over the past 15 years, with the launch of a limited edition 15-piece shirt collection. Printa, always a sustainability-minded company, will be hosting a registration-only event that will offer insight into zero-waste tailoring techniques, water-based printing and other eco-sustainable solutions. This year's first BCEFW will also be an exciting event for brides-to-be, featuring collections by Nora Sarman and Sára Bálint, who will be presenting their collections before the wedding season, with Ildikó Simonovics, fashion historian and museum curator, speaking at the latter event. If you still search for the perfect dream dress for your big day, you might also want to visit the Wedding For You wedding pop-up store and workshop.
