This year, the Hungarian Fashion & Design Agency joined Budapest Design Week as a professional partner for the third time. The Hungarian Fashion & Design Agency closes the HFDA Academy: design DIALOG round-table discussion series with a video podcast episode. The year 2020 posed a number of challenges for all industries and put event organizers in a particularly difficult position. Design Weeks, which have been highly attended in major European cities for years, provide a great opportunity for talented local and international brands to present themselves. However, this year the organisers had to rethink their traditional processes which have resulted in numerous creative solutions: sometimes only online or hybrid solutions ensured the appearance of designers.
The main topics of the design DIALOG podcast entitled „Redesign: international hybrid design weeks” are the following:
