A New Opportunity for Manufacturers: Showcase Your Brand at Ambiente International Fair 2026

The Hungarian Fashion & Design Agency (HFDA) is launching a call for applications for participation in the Ambiente International Consumer Goods Fair taking place in Frankfurt from 7–11 February 2026. As one of the world’s most prominent design and lifestyle trade fairs, Ambiente attracts tens of thousands of visitors from the Dining, Living, Giving, and HoReCa sectors. For the first time, applications are open specifically to Hungarian manufacturers.

Over the past few years, HFDA has represented Hungary at several leading international design events, including Maison & Objet in Paris, London Design Fair, the Czech Designblok, Milan Design Week, and Dubai Design Week. Through these appearances, it has contributed to raising the profile of Hungarian brands internationally.

Following feedback from its recent industry survey, HFDA’s next international focus will be the German market, with a special emphasis on manufacturers. The Frankfurt fair is a key international platform for interior design, lifestyle, and giftware markets, where, alongside Dining, Living, and Giving, the HoReCa sector also takes centre stage. In addition, particular emphasis is placed on sustainability, digital innovation, and a future-oriented lifestyle.

This initiative aims to provide manufacturers producing innovative, market-ready products – suitable for mass production and international markets – with the opportunity to present their work, build connections, and expand their market presence. Applicants should be open to engaging with retail buyers, interior designers, and professionals in the hospitality sector.

Selected brands will showcase under the Budapest Select umbrella brand at a collective stand in Hall 3.1, as part of spectacular, story-driven installations, within the Interior Looks programme. This form of presentation combines design, sustainability, and digital innovation, and is especially attractive for international buyers, interior designers, and hospitality professionals.

Submissions will be evaluated with the involvement of a panel of industry experts. We aim to support participants with strong potential in quality, innovation, and international competitiveness. After all, this presence will not only help build the participating brands but also further strengthen Hungary’s and Budapest’s position as design leaders on the international stage.
